Happy Valentine’s Day!
Holiday weeks are always fun….but crazy! My little firsties LOVE party days and today was no exception!
We hopped right into the fun decorating our little party bags for our valentine cards! I just picked up the bags at Michaels and it was super easy! AND it was so easy for them to carry home! They turned out really cute!!
We also created an adorable little monkey craft….What do we go BANANAS for??
This little guy went BANANAS for monster trucks, ipods, video games, and candy! So cute!

We also finished up our place value this week with some candy hearts and comparing numbers! One of my team teachers came up with this cute idea! We are doing numbers up to 99….but of course could not glue on that many hearts…so we stayed under 20!
My little (not so little) guy really got to enjoy this Valentine’s day! He just turned 4 and really “gets it!” now! He chose to sign himself up to bring popcorn for his class party….and we of course had to jazz it up!
We popped all the bags and divided them into their own little Valentine bags (snacking on LOTS of popcorn in between bags!) and he was so proud! I just had to share this picture of him!! (sorry for the clarity….courtesy of my phone!)
The popcorn was just for the party snack….he still needed his valentines for all of his friends!
So…what better way that crayons!! I found this adorable idea and made some quick little hearts to attach with ribbon!
Have a Happy Valentine’s Day for “CRAYON out loud!”
We of course had to dump out EVERYTHING that I received at school and what he received tonight! Lot’s of cute little cards, chocolate, stuffed animals, roses, and did I already say chocolate?!
Hope you all had a FANTASTIC valentines day!!
