If you think summer flies by….try going on vacation! The past 5 days literally flew!
Our little family of four decided we were in need for a little get-away!
Since we were taking both boys, we needed somewhere with FUN!
So we started our little trip with Sea World!
(Do you see that look? That looks says ” My dear sweet wife that I love…..put the camera away NOW!”)
…and it was H.O.T. (105 degrees to be exact!)
With an 11 month old…. it’s rough! (I’ll be honest!)
But we had tons of fun and saw the shows and spent WAY too much money on bottled water and lunch!
The next day we just spent our day in San Antonio and walked down the Riverwalk and visited the Alamo….
But the last day was our FAVORITE! We drove down to Padre Island……
This was the first trip to the beach for both boys!
(This was the FIRST time Little M felt the sand and water! I know he will NEVER remember this….but sooo cute)
*** Little M might have eaten about a pound of sand! We could not keep it away from him! So big brother was so kind to *rinse* him off very frequently! ***
We could have stayed here *forever*! It was so peaceful (even if I was cleaning sand out Little M’s mouth all day!)
Jaxon keeps asking to go back! I’m sure we could make a life on the beach! (couldn’t we all?!)
We got back to the hotel in record time….thanks to my sweet husband who drove a *little* fast!
I promise he did not drive 100 the entire way! But I had to get a picture of this….. my oh my!
(Do you see the temp? 103?) The air conditioner was definitely our friend!
So…. vacation is over which means its back to work! I needed one last day of rest (today!) but tomorrow you can probably find me in my classroom or working/planning at home for school!
Who am I kidding….I am about to go work on printing and laminating right now!
Looks like you guys had a great trip despite the heat! Now back to reality!
