Hellllllloooooo Summer!
Ahhhhh…..and it feels great! BUT….that doesn’t mean I’m not thinking about next year!
I found out this week that I will be moving classrooms! I will still be in first grade (woo hoo!) but due to the number of teachers in each grade level and the space we have per hallway, I will be moving! So…. that means I will be starting from scratch! (kinda excited about this!)
So me and my 2 favorite boys went out to some of my favorite places this morning….and came home with this:
(the baskets inside of the zebra baskets look blue…but they are turquoise!)
Are you seeing a theme here?
I definitely want something different this year…. although the zebra print somehow managed to stay! (can’t get enough!) and I am LOVING me some turquoise right now!
We started out at Target (one of my FAVORITE places!) and they of course always have sooooo many things that I *think* I need!
Why is it that organizing baskets are an addiction?? Please tell me I’m not the only one!
But this is what I came home with (for now!)
I am loving this little trash can and baskets!
Next we traveled to another FAVORITE place….
(Oh….I could spend FOREVER in this place….and spend a lot of money too….)
They had these UH-DORABLE little poms! I had to have them!
And after I turned the corner….they had zebra print poms!!
So of course I got all they had…. (2 of each…which is good for me (and my wallet!)
I also HAD to get some more fabric…..
I can’t wait to put all of this to use!
Now what would a shopping trip be without stopping here……
LOVE me some SONIC!!
If you are still with me….I just wanted to share some activities we did this last week of school!
We had so much fun with our WATERMELON day! (remember WAY back in October when you do a pumpkin day and all of the fun activities with it?! Well….now you can do it with summer and a watermelon!)
The kiddos LOVED it!!
You can click on the picture below to get your FREE booklet of watermelon activities!!
And what better way to end a school year than with banana behavior splits?! YUMMY!
I will post pictures soon of my NEW classroom….
until then….
Happy Summer!!
