Happy Thursday friends!
Let me just say that Math is one of favorite subjects to teach! Don’t get me wrong, I love the other subjects as well… but something about Math.. gosh it gets me!
Without a foundation in number sense, all other math objectives become increasingly difficult for our students. Number sense became something that I strive to incorporate daily into my classroom. We do activities during our morning meeting, calendar, and anytime I can find during transitions or filler times during the day!
Today’s “Thankful freebie” is something that will come in handy when we work on number sense this year!
“Huntin’ on the Hundred’s Chart” includes over 80 chart prompts that will have students “huntin'” for numbers that are greater than, less than, ten more, ten less, one more, one less, and exact tens/ones.
I have included both a 100’s chart as well as a 120 chart. I also organized the prompts in the packet, where you will find the additional prompts for 100 – 120 later in the packet! Just grab some colored paper and you are on your way!
