One week down….. and a lot more to go!
The first week back after winter break is always interesting! It’s hard getting back into the routine after spending 2 weeks in my jammies! The kiddos are always excited to share what they did over the break and we just dive head first into new lessons!
Since we are in Winter, what better way to celebrate than with SNOWMEN!!
In Math this week, we started telling time! We really only focus on hour & half hour, but of course we always venture deeper into the unit after the kiddos become curious and figure out the pattern on their own!
This week we made Snowman Clocks! They are now displayed in the hallway!
We also dipped into our HOW TO writing this week, with How To Build a Snowman! Students planned and brainstormed, (which is always fun to hear their ideas!), they wrote their final draft, and then created their snowman!

We will continue with snowman activities this coming week! This past week was a short week for me! Monday was a work day and then I was out Friday with my sick baby 🙁
